Terms of Service
Last updated: September 10, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of FiatAlfaVin.com (the “Site”) and the VIN decoding, factory equipment reports, and related digital services provided through it (the “Service”).
1. Acceptance of terms
By using the Site or purchasing a paid report, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
The Site provides vehicle-information tools focused on Fiat and Alfa Romeo vehicles. Depending on the VIN and the source records available, the Service may return vehicle identification details, sales codes, factory equipment, option packages, trim, engine, transmission, drivetrain, colors, and other build or configuration information.
3. Paid VIN reports
A Full Fiat & Alfa Romeo VIN Equipment Report costs US $4.99 per VIN.
The charge is a one-time payment for one report for one VIN. It is not a subscription and does not create recurring billing.
A paid report provides the information available to the Service for the submitted VIN at the time of the request. A purchase does not guarantee that a particular code, option, package, field, original window sticker, or MSRP value will be available.
4. Payment processing
Payments are processed through Paddle, which acts as the authorized reseller and Merchant of Record for the digital product. Paddle may calculate and collect applicable taxes and may present its own buyer terms, privacy notice, and refund terms during checkout.
FiatAlfaVin.com does not receive or store your full payment-card number.
5. Delivery
The paid report is a digital product delivered electronically after successful payment. Delivery normally happens immediately or shortly after payment confirmation. Temporary delays can occur because of network issues, upstream vehicle-data services, payment confirmation, or other technical conditions.
If payment succeeds but the report cannot be delivered because of a technical failure, contact us using the address below.
6. Entering the VIN
You are responsible for entering the correct VIN. A modern VIN normally contains 17 characters, and an incorrect character can produce an incorrect result, no result, or a result for a different vehicle. Confirm the VIN from the windshield VIN plate, driver-side certification label, title, registration, insurance document, or listing before purchasing.
7. Vehicle data and limitations
Vehicle data varies in completeness and terminology. We make reasonable efforts to present the available information clearly, but we do not guarantee that every source record is complete, current, or error-free.
A factory record describes how a vehicle was recorded or configured at the time of production. It does not prove that the vehicle still has the same equipment today.
8. Not a vehicle history report
The Service is not a title, accident, ownership, lien, theft, mileage, recall, or service-history report. A paid report does not tell you whether a vehicle has been damaged, rebuilt, stolen, flooded, modified, incorrectly repaired, or properly maintained.
For a vehicle purchase, use the Service together with title and history checks, physical inspection, service records, and a professional pre-purchase inspection where appropriate.
9. Safety, repairs, parts and towing
Information shown by the Service is for research and reference. Do not rely on it as the sole source for safety-critical repairs, parts compatibility, towing limits, payload limits, recalls, or regulatory compliance. For those purposes, verify the vehicle’s certification labels, production date, current physical configuration, existing part numbers, and official manufacturer or service information.
10. Acceptable use
You may use the Site and purchased reports for lawful personal or business vehicle research. You may not:
- attempt to bypass payment or access controls;
- interfere with or overload the Site, its APIs, or connected services;
- scrape, copy, mirror, or systematically extract the Site’s databases without written permission;
- resell or redistribute the Service as your own data product without permission;
- use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity;
- attempt to reverse engineer access controls or protected backend services.
We may restrict or block abusive automated access.
11. Intellectual property
The Site’s software, presentation, database organization, and original written content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Vehicle manufacturers’ names, trademarks, and model names belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the vehicles and equipment being discussed.
Your purchase grants access to the purchased report for your own lawful use. It does not transfer ownership of the Site, software, database, or underlying intellectual property.
12. Third-party services
The Service depends on third-party infrastructure and vehicle-information services, which may experience outages, change their interfaces, limit availability, or return incomplete information. We are not responsible for failures outside our reasonable control, but we will make reasonable efforts to restore the Service or address a failed paid delivery.
13. Refunds
Refund eligibility is described in our Refund Policy. Purchases processed through Paddle are also subject to Paddle’s applicable buyer and refund terms, including mandatory consumer rights that apply in your country.
14. Privacy
Our handling of VINs, technical data, and transaction identifiers is described in our Privacy Policy. Payment information is processed by Paddle under Paddle’s own privacy terms.
15. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, that every VIN will have a factory record, or that every field will be complete or free of errors. Nothing here excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FiatAlfaVin.com is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses resulting from reliance on vehicle data, purchasing decisions, parts selection, modifications, towing decisions, or third-party service failures. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.
17. Changes
We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
18. Contact
