What is a build sheet?

A build sheet is the factory's record of how a specific vehicle was assembled. For Fiat and Alfa Romeo it ties the VIN to the model year, market, body style, engine family, trim, and the equipment the car was originally built with.

It's the most reliable way to confirm how a used Fiat 500, 124 Spider, Alfa Romeo Giulia, Stelvio, or Tonale was configured — more dependable than a badge or a seller's description.

What the build sheet shows

The build sheet covers powertrain, trim, body style, exterior and interior colors, wheels, packages, and factory options — the details that explain why two cars with the same model name can feel very different.

For performance models, it helps separate genuine mechanical packages from appearance trims, which matters on Quadrifoglio, Veloce, and Abarth-style configurations.

Trims & packages

One package name can include several smaller features — a comfort, appearance, or driver-assistance group can change the practical value of the car. Reading the build sheet carefully tells you what the vehicle actually carries.

Factory data should not be confused with later modifications: wheels, audio, badges, and trim pieces may have changed since delivery, so use the build sheet alongside photos and an inspection.

Code 22G is present on my 2021 Wagoneer, with the description “Customer Preferred Package 22G. This code identifies a factory option package or special-edition equipment group” The visible equipment does not match what I expected. Has anyone run into a similar mismatch?

I would avoid buying retrofit parts until the connectors and module support are confirmed. Returning electronic or VIN-programmed components can be difficult.
